65 Illnois Nursing Homes On Second Quarter Violation List

The Illinois Department of Public Health released is listing of nursing homes from the 2008 second quarter.  The listing has nursing homes that  the IDPH has determined to be in violation of the Nursing Home Care Act.  In some situations, IDPH has recommended decertification to the Director of the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services, or the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for violations in relation to poor patient care, pursuant to Titles XVIII and XIX of the Social Security Act.  Further, these facilities have 'type A' violations indicating that the conditions at the...
