Nursing Home Abuse Charges Filed Against Teenage Workers

Criminal charges have been filed against six teenagers who worked at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Albert Lea, Minnesota.  As we discussed earlier in the Nursing Home Abuse Blog, the young women mistreated the Alzheimer's and dementia patients they were responsible for caring for.  Now the Minnesota Department of Public Health has released a report substantiating the criminal charges.  The report contains reports of physical, sexual and verbal abuse. Nursing Home Abusers To Be Released

I just did a double-take.  Four nursing home employees charged with abusing residents at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Minnesota will soon be released from custody.  The Minnesota Attorney General blames the the nursing home employees release on a lack of hard evidence and hearsay testimony.
